Mirta: Mirta (lat. Myrtus communis) je ljekovita endemska biljka. Suhi plodovi se koriste kao začin a iz listova i plodova se dobiva eterično ulje koje se koristi u kozmetici i medicini. Mirti se pripisuju razna ljekovita svojstva.
U Istri je tradicija pripravka rakija sa ljekovitim biljem, prvenstveno rude (Ruta graveolens) ili imele (biska, lat. Viscum album).
Trapan Mirta je bazirana na destilatu komovice malvazije istarske i ekstraktom istarske mirte. Boje starog bakra, osebujna je mirisa i okusa. Osim kao digestiv, preporuča se kod probavnih smetnji ili nakon obilnijeg obroka.

Tehnološki postupak: proizvodi se maceracijom plodova mirte u rakiji komovici cca 90 dana.

Mirta:The myrtle (lat. Myrtus communis) is an endemic medicinal plant. Its dried fruits are used as flavouring, while from its leaves and fruits essential oils are extracted and used in cosmetics and medicine. Healing properties are attributed to myrtle. Istria is known for the production of brandies with medicinal herbs, primarily from the common rue (lat. Ruta graveolens) and mistletoe (lat. Viscum album).
The Trapan Myrtle is based on the distillate of the grape brandy and Istrian Malvasia with the extract of the Istrian myrtle. The colour is that of an old copper, it is singular in terms of flavours and aromas. Apart from being served as a digestif, it is also recommended in the treatment of digestive disturbances and after a heavy meal.

Technological process: it is produced by a 90 day maceration of the myrtle fruits in the grape brandy.
